"Life" was the first word in the title of three of my June books, and two of my titles were in the form of a question. I like finding similarities in my titles.

I didn't have a very good month. Unfortunately I read 150 pages of Middlesex and couldn't get into it, so that was kind of a waste. I waited and waited for something to happen to draw me in, but it never did. I hope July is better. I've got some great books on hold at the library.

I thought you had a great month of reading!!!! My summer numbers will be high just because I can spend bigger chunks of my day reading!!

I guess I am pretty hard on myself, huh? Thirteen is a decent number, but I was hoping to read at least 16 or 17. I have plenty of time during the day to read since I don't work, but I end up catching up on my reality TV shows or something stupid and then I feel like I wasted precious reading time! It's all about choices - ha ha...that's what I'm always telling my 16-year-old son..."make good choices."

I liked Life, In Spite of Me, but it wasn't my favorite. I just thought it was a little too unrealistically upbeat. I'm glad you liked it though :) The story was definitely inspirational.

I gave up after reading 150 pages. Nothing was happening and I got so bored. I know others loved it. You should read it. It's probably just me...
